Pray to the snow gods

If all goes my way, i might get a snowday tomorrow. i need everyone to pray to the sages of the snow day and do a snow dance. It may sound outrageous,....and well......it is. But I figure the combined power of all of the OTS crew can sway mother nature to dump a generous amount of that wonderful white precipitation on us. snowdays r 7eh |33t

Well some darn fool prayed to the snow gods all right, but forgot to point them in the right direction. We got a foot last night, but nothing is closed. Schools are only on a 2 hour delay to give them a chance to clear the roads.

I have possibly the gayest school district in the world. We never get off for anything. For crying out loud, a few years ago we had a bomb threat and instead of sending us home, they sent us to the football field. WTF? Also, recently we had a power outtage, unlike most normal schools we had to stay in school in complete darkness. I sat and ate lunch in the pitch black. Snow days? Not a chance. We would be lucky to get a 2 hour delay if it snowed 2 feet.

It's supposed to snow 1-3 inches tonight here. It's a big thing for me because I've only been in maybe 5 snowfalls in my 21 years. Yeah, I grew up Houston where it's a rarity to even see ice.

I think it's illegal for them to keep you in school if the power/heat is out. We got let out on Monday for that. And sorry about the wrong posting genre, I hope I didn't give you false hopes about some weather related tech incident.

It doesn't snow here in cali, or if it does, its once in a blue moon. Oh well, I'll be back in colorado next week, hoping to hit Brek and Copper, maybe Vail at least once =]. I'm praying for snow.

I don't know if you know, but Brek opened up a lift to the insane quadrupal black runs. Idk how good you are, but i would die if I tried one of those.

Well, it's 20 degrees outside but no snow. I think it's only really snowed like twice this year, and the first time was randomly at the end of October.

Heh, that depends on what 4x black diamonds really mean. I'm not a professional, and I'm not too keen on leaping off cliffs, but i'll tackle anything short of suicide =]. I'm best at steep and flat.
