A fellow I work with brought in his e-machine W1500. I had worked on it several weeks ago for a Windows issue and it had worked since then. But now it was rebooting or not working at all. I plugged it in and it doesn't boot - just the fan(s). No POST. I checked the voltage and it is good, unplugged pereferals, etc. and nothing. think it is probably the motherboard. What do you guys (and gals) think?

Sounds like the motherboard you might want to call pcfactoryoutlet (3rd party supplier for e-machines parts) you can order the part with them, this is the replacement motherboard for the W1500 http://pcfactoryoutlet.com/moreinfo...roduct_id=68991
