Haha thats funny. My favorite answering machine recording was done by my dads friend. He recorded part of "The Machine" a Pink Floyd song. It went like, Welcome my friend, to the machine!! It was great.

For the longest time the voicemail message on my cellphone was "Try to imagine all life stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light." or some such proper quotation, the total protonic reversal bit from ghostbusters, for the non taco people out there.
Oh, the messages I got from people I didn't know, calling a phone number they believed to be someone else.

Mine's just simply, "You know what to do." I keep it short 'cause it's my voicemail for my cell and friends used to complain about a long quote I had of Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force (I can do an almost perfect imitation of him).
