hardware failure, bitch if its under warranty, if its not - run some stress tests, test your ram, if that all works start updateing,refreshing drivers, after that, back it up, wipe it out, and start over.

Also check the temperatures, by downloading Motherboard monitor 5.
If you discover your temps is too high (Not an unusual problem with laptops). This gadget may help.
