problem fifa 2006

I bought fifa 2006 today and everything in the installation went smooth.
when i get in the everything is ok. But when i play the game the speed of the game is
very very fast. The graphics are fine and all the rest is working except the game is being played very fast and its impossible to play this way. I already tried to lower the game speed in game settings but that isnt the problem. maybe there is a patch or something
plzzz help

Yes i say a patch would fix that problem.. And i would say there is a patch..
