LCD Monitor Help, Tips, Tricks?
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just got my first LCD monitor, here is the link:

or

When I am gaming, the screen is slightly blurry when I am moving around in the game. It looks kinda like GTA3 tracers. The recommended resolution is 1280x1024 @ 60hz which is what I am running it in. I just installed the driver for the monitor, but it didn't really help. I have tried both the standard D-Dub & the DVI connections. Any tips, tweaks, things I need to know, etc?
My Specs:
AMD Athlon 64(tm) 3000+ Venice w/ 512MB PC3200 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce PX6600TD
Attached are screenshots of my monitor options for both of the connections. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Maybe try another driver.
Guru 3D have a bunch of forceware drivers. Both new, old and modified.
Modified drivers like OMEGA, often have better image quality.
Also uninstall your old driver first in "Add / remove programs" before you install the new driver.
What direct X version do you use?
This is a good modified one:

O.k. I forgot to say before, that also download "Driver cleaner proffesional" and use it after uninstalling a driver.
Read the cleaners instruction carefully.

You're welcome.
Another thing, that dont have anything to do with your problem. But will spare your eyes.
I know the recmmended update frequensy for your monitor is 60Hz. But set it to 75Hz instead.
This will lower the amount of flickering. 60 Hz flicker quite much.

Maybe a mod can move this thread to the PC Gaming forum, so we can get further feedback on this topic. How can I contact a mod about moving the thread?

Done
Keep in mind that this does not automatically guarantee more help, the same people that view this forum might already have seen your thread in the Hardware forum earlier. Everyone just comes and goes where they want, it's not that we have designated Hardware/Gaming/etc people.

Well, after several days of testing, tweaking, etc, I have decided to send this monitor back & get a Samsung CRT. I just hope Newegg will be helpful throughout the process. Thanks for all the help!
