How to delete huge outgoing message from Outlook Express

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: wondering

The interface will not respond to normal method of deleting an outgoing message.

How can I track down and find the directory with the file and delete it? I tried in vain. Do I need to turn on viewing hidden files to find it?

Thanks for any clues!

wondering

p.s. running Windows XP Pro

As I was drifting off to sleep last night, I came up with a simple plan.

Pull the network cable, start email, delete the outgoing message, plug the network cable back in.

I guess it was too simple for my net searches to pull up any help!

Check here :
You will find all the folders here , make sure you are viewing all Files (Hidden)

C:\Documents and Settings\"Your Login Here"\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{B11D2401-EE1C-4EC2-B73E-C6EAEECDBEB3}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Your login here simply means you should see your name or what account you are logged into windows.

zerokewl,
