It could be spy ware / virus, run a few checks. I.E. spybot / adware.

If you think it's a virus download Stinger from McAfee's website, the latest version of it is Stinger v2.5.9 and you can find it here.

yeah, youre not being hacked. sounds like a problem with your ethernet card or motherboard.

i dont think its my mother bord or any hard wear bcuz i have dissconted the pc for the internet and it works fine as soon as i reconet my pc it resets at random times

I recently installed a new ethernet card, and any time my LAN cable is connected and I get on the internet, my computer restarts automatically.

Maybe you need to move the card to another PCI slot?

I've tried all three PCI slots, got into the BIOS and made sure that the ethernet port on the mother board is disabled, tried drivers updates, been on the phone with tech support numerous times, did scan disk to check the hardware, the computer can't find any problems with the card.

Set windows so it doesn't reboot on errors. It's under system in the control panel somewhere I think. Then you should be able to see the blue screen you're probably getting. There also may be a log of the blue screen as well in the administrative tools section in the control panel.

The problem may be software related as well. Do you have a software firewall running? Sometimes even a virus scanner may cause problems. Overclocking is another possible factor.
