mouse,keyboard lock up

hi guys,just wandering if anyone can help me,my pc keeps locking up,freezing every 45 mins or so.i cant do nothing no mouse control or keyboard control.
the pc normally works perfect but i found out this morning my kid had a mess with the pc last night and its not been right since!

when it freezing up restart it and go it to the bios and tell me the temp and all so what CPU is it ??? and is it Overclocked..??

im not sure if it was my kids to be honest,the pc now doesnt even boot,ive checked my cpufan and thats still works ok.
before it wouldnt boot fully,it would logonto windows and stay active for about 5mins then just lock up.
ive even tried to format with my xp,pro disk but still no joy!!it wont get no further than windows is starting up when i try to format.
