Folder settings?

I somehow messed up my folder settings and now it looks all weird.
I am running on Win98 and I wanted to change some settings in my documents folder but I must have cliced on sth bad because now it looks..well, white.
The first attachment is what my folders look like (don't look at the language  ) but it should look like the second attachment (taken from Windows Help), the blue thingy around Microsoft Windows should be in the folders too.
Any ideas what I got wrong and how can I repair it?
I'd be very grateful for any help.
