has any1 ever named their computer?
my friend and i were going to name our computers and wondered if any1 had any ideas.
we both have hp pavilons but idk if that matters.

The most I did was give it the name Devium on the network. Haha.

My main pc is almost always called Phalanx. On large home networks giving each PC say a Greek or Roman gods' name, just for example, makes IDing a lot easier. Idk, if you're just naming yours call it w/e your heart desires

i guess i think of my computers in terms of their network names. my laptop is called ripe, the desktop is called lucifer, the server is called pandemonium and the worgroup is called hell.

I name my computers for networking purposes and they're always named for the processor they have. So I have my main Athlon64 and my server AthlonXP

Yeah I always name my computer. It just gives it a little something more. This one is MoJo and my other one is Night Watcher.

Named this comp Lu Bu but since the HD's crashed i renamed it monolith just in case it lets me down again, cant go pissing off lu bu by having him assosiated with something that isnt great.
