freezing or locking up

I just upgraded my motherboard and processor to athalon 300 xp I also upgraded my ram from 256 ddr to two 512 ddr plus the 256. Along with other upgrades along with what I have mentioned already. Ever since then my computer freezes up and stayes frozen and it happens ten times a day. Its driving me nuts. I don't know if its windows because i upgraded that as well or if its something else. yank out the 256 and see what it does. and dont post your email on forums.

You've done a lot of upgrading, any chance pof posting the full system specs? Also you said you upgraded Windows did you do this as a version upgrade or a clean install because I've had problems when I used the upgrade from Windows 98 to Windows XP option but when I did a clean install the issues went away.
