DID I GET HACKED?! please help

Ok guys. Today i was playing Maple Story ( old online game ) on my laptop all of a sudden i press a button and my comp restarts. Once windows xp is done loading There no Tool Bar or icon on the desktop. WHICH MEANS I CANT DO ANYTHING!!
Right now it Says "The Computer is in use and has been blocked"
Its asking for my user name and password. Funny thing is i havn't even made a password for my comp! Anyways i'd love some replys so i can fix my laptop its only a couple months old.

Well if you don't have much on it, reformat and reinstall windows...

heh. thanx for the help id rather not reformat/reinstall windows but that can be my last resort.
any idea of what the prob is? i googled it and i couldnt find one thing.

boot into safe mode, and see what you can do from there.

Im a newb to Comps. If you mean restart it in safe mode i cant because there is no tool bar/start button/ or anything! all there is is my wall paper. I tried shuting it down manually and the same pop up came (This computer is in use and has been locked).

push the reset button and boot into safe mode.

F8 while the computer is booting to get the choice of booting into safe mode.
