i was just wondering if ur computer gets messed up if u leave it on

Nope, shouldn't damage it at all. Personally I only turn it off if I'm going somewhere and won't be back for a few days.

Yeah it doesn't hurt your computer if you leave it on, but it does hurt your electric bill

Ditto. My computer stays on unless a power outage knocks it out. Even then, when power comes back, my computer comes back on again. No Biggie.

Computers don't use that much power, really. Things that heat up, like dryers and stoves use gobs of electricity. Yes, comps heat up, but that's not their primary function.

Not really. Nowadays the only reason I restart is when it's needed to finish installing something. Windows XP hardly ever crashes, and even if it does, it's usually the cause of viruses, spyware or broken hardware, you can't blame those on Windows.
