I'm having aproblem when my computer boots. I turn on the pc and teh screen stays on the intel logo for like 5 to 10 minutes before it continues to the pw prompt i have enabled from the bios. after i enter the pw, it boots up and everything is fine. I disabled the bios pw prompt and i still have the same issue ive even recovered and update the bios several times still nothing. the intel screeen stays on for 5 to 10 mins with the harddrive lit solid and after that everything is normal but i cant figure out y there's such a long delay with the intel screen it only started doing it today, i never had this issue before, and it happens everytime i start or restart my comp, id apprecialte any help or suggestions thank u in advance

Does the BIOS have a virus check option? Try resetting the BIOS to the default settings and see what happens. You could also try clearing the CMOS settings.

its possible that your jumper settings/bios settings are a bit off, or there is a defective device on the system. unplug anything you dont use regularly and see if it speeds up. oh, and enable quick/fast boot.
