Can a single-port voip ADSL modem plug into an ADSL gateway to connect two computers?

I have a voip modem that has a single port LAN and I would like to have two computers connected to the net. I also have a Netcomm ADSL wireless gateway (without voip functionality) - can the single port voip modem "piggy-back" into the four port gateway so I can run the two computers as well as continue to use voip?
Thx,
Martin.

is your gateway just a router, or is it a modem as well? if its a modem, no go. if its a router, it should work.

Its just a modem, has an ADSL telephone jack in, and four LAN ports out. So I guess this a no-go, eh?

um, thats a modem/router. and yes, its a no-go.
