Nvidia Nforce 4 Motherboard Drivers

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi,
I have got an nforce4 motherboard with PCI-Express(AMD). I've got a PCI-Express graphics card. I want to know if I should use the nForce4 AMD/Intel X16 - Windows XP/2000 (32-Bit) drivers, or the nForce4 AMD Edition - Windows XP/2000 (32-Bit) .

I currently use the 6.70 AMD Edition XP
What is the X16 driver package used for?

Thanks

The one you are using now.
The X16 driver package, is for the 16X Videocard slot(s), if I'm not misstaken

Don't install the X16 drivers if you're not sure, Just tried it, BSOD! I am happy that I could revert to the previous ones from safe mode, lol

Maybe you installed the SLI version?

My graphics card is Gigabyte Geforce 6600, It supports SLI, I don't think the X16 drivers work well with my nforce 4

Yeah, but you will also have to have a mobo like mine that is SLI ready I.e have 2 PCI E slots 16X
