Word 2000

I am using Word 2000. Every time I open Word I can't get a blank page but always have a previously saved document. Even If I delete the whole document and save it as deleted the next time I go to New Document the same page comes up.

Do a search on your system for normal.dot
Delete this & re-start Word. this should work.

yea try the delete and restart..what happens then??
