installing slave hardive

my slave hardive displays under device manager but not under my compouter folders. how do i make it display under my computer folders

Have you formatted the drive in control panel, Administrators tools, Compunter handling, Disk handling?

i cant find disk handling. i have windows xp

Sorry, I used the wrong term for that. It's "Disk management" I meant.
