Bad Sound Driver

I'm having a problem with bad sound driver error code: 88780078
Someone has posted about this before, but that didnt help. the type of model my sound card is 9. I have Windows xp. What do I do?! i cant hear sounds from anything.

What is that supposed to mean? 9 is a number, a make & model would be useful mate.
Anyway, when you find the correct make & model, download the latest driver & install it.
