A while back I was using a usb network adaptor 11b. I went and bought a new wireless g router and a notebook card Motorola 11G and setup a new connection on my Notebook. Compaq Pres. Celeron D mobile 2g 512RAM 60g HD. using XP home edition. At first everything went smooth. I set up a new "wireless conection to the router and had access to the internet at 54mb. Yesterday, my old network connection shows up as the only available connection, low connectivity, and no acces to the internet. I tried everything I could think of to get rid of it and can't. How the F do I delete it? It evedently deleted or somehow prioritized itself as the only connection available. I ran setup again and my new network shows up, but I can't make it my primary. Any help will be appreciated. My desktop is not affected. It goes through the same router but it,s cat6 connected.???

uninstall the old usb network adaptor 11b hardware from your computer. That might fix the problem with the confusion of wireless adaptors.

Thanks. I didn't think of that. Now that i think of it, I had trouble installing it because XP said it wasn't a windows compliant device. Here we go again... Thanks again.
