Help Warcraft Wont Install!!!

OK When i try to install warcraft 3 reign of chaos.
"Setup cannot read a required data file.Your Warcraft 3 cd may not be in the CDROM drive. Please insure that the cd is in the CDROm drive and press retry. To cancel the operation press cancel.
D:/war3.mpq
Error 0x00000017: data error (cyclic redunduncy check).
After you click "cancel" yet another error message appears that reads as follows:
" Setup was unable to copy the following file:
war3.mpq
Error 0x00000017: Data error (cyclic redunduncy check).
(C:/temp/remaster/wc3-rel-1-0lockit/installer/source/diskundo.cpp:240
Operation Aborted"
So yea i have installed this game before. uninstalled it and now it wont let me install it again. i have tried other discs. same problem if u have a solution or tips please help me i really want to play this game again. thx :-)

i got the same thing when i installed warcraft 3 and it turned out to be that my cds were corupt. i just took them back and exchanged them. i bought mine at a used game store so they had no problem exchanging them for me. but try that if yoiu have the reciept and let them know that it don't work and you just want another copy there should be no problem.

It could also be your cdrom drive
This happened to my friend and he ende up having to get a brand new cdrom drive. It turned out his had gotten old enough that it stoped working.
If its not the cds then its the drive
