Jedi Academy SP Problem

Sometimes between levels a message comes up and says "Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy SP has had an error and must shut down" and then it asks to send a report or whatever. what is the problem. the computer is more than adequate for the game.

That is probably the exe file, that is damaged.
Reinstall or patch the game.
