Yea so, just like it sounds, SOCOM II online problems. I recently updated my internet to Comcast and I have the Surfboard Modem along with the Linksys Router and I have 1 computer hooked directly to the router and 3 computers connected via wireless. I connected the Ps2 straight into the router in one of the open ethernet jacks. I have a strong connection but when i tried to log onto SOCOM II Online then it would keep disconnecting me just before I could enter the "Briefing Rooms". So, I figured I needed to open up some ports. Did a little research on what ports needed to be opened, and I went ahead and opened them. When i tried logging back onto Socom II Online, it gave me a message saying something about "You have been caught using a cheating device 5 times, your account has been terminated." Well how the hell am I supposed to cheat without even playing the game? There's 2 gaming channels which I can enter, North America (has about 9,000 players online at any given time) and then theres International (which has about 30-40 people at any given time). If i tried entering the North America one it gives me the cheating message, but if I enter the International it will let me play, except the international gaming channel has like no games playing so it's not even worth going in there. So what's the deal? Can anyone help me as to why it keeps saying my account is cheating?
P.S. I've tried creating new accounts but it still gives me the same stupid message about cheating. I've even erased all my SOCOM II saved games and internet configuration files on my memory card and still gives me the same stupid thing. So what's the deal people? Anyone know?
