With this laptop, it appears that it supports 2 type II PCMCIA cards or one type III card.
For getting online, it depends on the method you are using, but if you mean dial-up You should be able to get hold of a PCMCIA modem for around £25.00, (about $35.00 I think)
I couldn't determine if this lappy had an internal modem.
If you are connecting via a network, you should be able to pick an ethernet PC card (PCMCIA) fairly cheaply.
