Radeon ATI Rage video card install

I recently purchased a Radeon Rage128 32M Video card for my 1999 People PC.
The display comes up quite nicely but I can neither see the desktop icons nor adjust the resolution. I need some help, please. Windows XP, Home Ed. w/SP2

But have you installed the drivers for the card?

Just one thing, is tis a Radeon card or a Rage128. As far as I know you can't get a Radeon Rage128. You need to know which card you have before you can download the correct driver.
If you look on the ATI website, you can get drivers for the Radeon range of cards or the Rage 128.
Let us know what you have.

Start it up in safe mode and adjust the resolution from there.
