This is the issue at hand.....I am working on a computer that is running windows 98 se and there is no sound.I checked in device manager and it shows error code 28 on the audio device (Which means no drivers are installed for the device)So i clicked reinstall driver and it then says insert the cd labeled Master riptide audio device drivers...Which i don't have..I tried a google search but no luck...Can anyone give me a hand? I appreciate it...Thanks..Johnny G

How about some specs on the computer such as the model number since it is obviously a major manufacturer's computer since they were pretty much the only ones to use riptide audio cards in them. I'd guess Packard Bell or possibly Gateway. If it's either of those, drivers are out there on the net and with the correct model number can be found rather easily.
