X-Box Problems

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I purchased an X-Box in September of 04. It worked great, then with in 6-8 months after the purchase, I started getting the message "the disk you are using is either damaged or dirty." So thinking it was the game (Madden 2005 and NCAA Football 2005), I purchased new ones. Much to my surprise, the new games gave me the same message after I tried using them.

I am looking for suggestions. I am the poster child for computer illiteracy! I would appreciate any help on this.[

well. you know the other day i was playing halo with xbc connect (www.xbconnect.com) which is lieka free x-box live program that uses system link mode. anyways i clicked system link and it reda the error. I cleaned the disk and still nothing restet the xbox and nothing. I went to another game and exited all the settings and it worked. im thinking both are cd roms drives are broken in the xbox. or maby you have a burnt game and the modchio came loose inside?

you would probly need the Madden NFL Patch if using a modchip. Also need the Font exploit (usual xb places). If no modchip, then the disc is burnt and wont read it without a patched/hacked BIOS.
