Unable to Connect to Battle.Net

I have 1.20c, the latest patch, Connection settings are all peachy.
The only problem I have, I think is that I use Earthlink DSL, and My Modem connects through PPPoE, which Disables DNS I think. The only way I could figure out how to fix it, was by turning off the PPPoE And putting in manual DNS Settings or something to that effect. Is that what I should do? How do I go about doing that?

Do u get this error
ERROR
You may be trying to connect to an invalid battle.net serverIf you are using a modem you may need to manually connect to the internet before connecting to battle.net
