missing drive D option

I need to save some photos from my pictures folder onto a disk.
Last time I did it I went to 'my pictures' found the pics I needed, right clicked on each one and then clicked something like 'send to CD:RW or D:'
After I finished chosing the pics I wanted it would copy the lot onto the disk.
WhenI tried it today after clicking the right mouse button on 'send to' there was no option for sending it to D..
The only thing that has changed is that I've got a card reader for my camera that has several slots for different cards and they have come up as drive E, drive F etc. I've tried unplugging the card reader but no change.
Any ideas?
