Trojan/adware problem

When I left my computer today it was fine. All I did was check e-mail and get an update for my registry cleaner (and OTS, of course). When I came back, some program called SpywareQuake was installed on it. I figgured it was a trojan that had waited untill my computer was idle. So I uninstalled the program and ran McAfee (with updated signatures) and left. When I came back, McAfee had found nothing, however a little box above the system tray informed me that there was a PUP (potentially unwanted program, AKA spy/adware). I selected Delete the File, however the SpywareQuake poped back up (and at the same time disabled McAfee), it somehow reinstalled itself. I uninstalled it again, and decided to run more antivirus/malware programs. I ran Windows Defender, TrendMicro, Bitdefender, and McAfee again, uninstalling the program and rebooting after each scan. Each said to have removed the trojans/adware, but when I logged in again, the program showed up again. I wrote down all the infected files from the Bitdefender scan (about 10 files and a registry key) and deleted them in windows explorer and the registry editor with no trouble and rebooted, but the program kept comming back. I managed to uninstall the program and get everything to normal except for this (see attached file). I googled on SpywareQuake, and it turned up no relevent results, which leads me to believe its not legit, but if I click on the annoying message that keeps popping up from the system tray, It takes me to the Website. It insists that I have a ton of infected files (which it either put there or is lieing about them being infected). Any help in getting rid of these trojans/adware would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like another variant of SpySheriff. Here is more info about that: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74265

Have you tried using Microsoft Antispyware Beta? Turn off system restore and restart your pc, run a full system scan with MAS, you can get it at www.filehippo.com
