Online gaming with satellite internet?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I am getting Satellite internet soon because I cannot get DSL or Cable where I am at right now and I am wandering if I will be able to play online games with it. Specifically Nintendo DS games through Nintendo's Wifi service. I have heard people say no way, and some say it would just be laggy. I read an old post on here where a person said they could play PC games with a Satellite connection. The router I will be using is Nintendo's own router specifically for DS, and I can't find anywhere that say it does or doesn't support Satellite connections. I am think I would be able to play games like Animal Crossing online because it doesn't have a lot going on. Any help is appreciated.
