Morrowind closes out with error message.

OK well I have been playing Morrowind for quite some time. And I sometimes get messages and the game will close out to the desktop and I get a error say "were sorry but morrowind has encountered a problem and needs to close." and now whenever I got o load a game it gets as far as Initilizing data then closes out. I dont know what to do. Ive ran programs that are supposed to repair saved games ive ran DXDIAG ive done almost everything. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I dont know what to do.
