Burner problem

Before I sent my PC for repair, the burner was working. but after it came back, it won't burn videos/images. it only burn audio. wat's wrong with it and is there any way for me to fix it?

what kind of cd's are you using?
have you tried a diff brand of cd?

If you sent it in working fine and it came back broken, its not your fault and whoever tried to fix your computer is responsible for repairing it.

course you need to be able to prove that they stuff'd up... whole long issue... this goes on for months, and eventually u have to resort to rubber gloves and sticky bombs... erm..

i've tried a lot of diff brands of cds. i usually use Sony but it still refused to burn videos. when i burn it in vcd format, it only burn the audio and the screen is blank.

What program are you using? Have you tried another?

if you burn a normal data cd, eg. random files here and there, as normal data, does it complete without errors?
is this a normal cd writer or is it a dvd writer?

i usually use nero and real player to burn my cds. i'm using a normal cd writer. the repair guy came the other day and he said that he's going replace the writer with a dvd writer.
