Is this Power Supply any good?

I am wondering if anyone had ever seen or used this power supply that's listed on Newegg? There are no review listed on the website.

It looks acutely inexpensive, but is it necessarily cheap as a result? I just have finished upgrading my first build to a second and am considering building a 3rd, but the mobo I have for the next one takes a 24 pin main connector plus the 4 for powering the CPU. I am on a limited budget, so any alternate suggestions under $100 would also be helpful. I would also prefer to use a SATA drive with it, so having SATA power connectors would be useful for that.

I think you will be better off with a PSU from the rekown manufacturers.

Here are some suggestions, that from what I heard, are good PSU's:

ASPIRE ATX-CW500WP4 ATX 500W Power Supply 115/230 V UL, CSA, TUV, CE - Retail $39.99

Antec SmartPower 2.0 SP-500 ATX12V 500W Power Supply 115/230 V TUV, UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC - Retail $68.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N82E16817103937

ENERMAX Noisetaker EG495P-VE SFMA ATX 485W Power Supply 115/230 V UL (Level 3), cUL (Level 3), VDE, CB, NEMKO, SEMKO, DEMKO, FIMKO - Retail $76.00

For The Aspire and Enermax, you should get an ATX converter 20 to 24 pin:

Never heard of Atrix. What bothers me about Atrix is that there isnt any detailed specs on their site about the power supply. I would like to know at what temperature it's output is at that level....

If you dig around on Thermal Take's site they have very technical and detailed info on their powersupplies (if you can decode it).... Antec, Thermal Take, and Enermax are the only power supplies that I have bought in the last few years, and they have done me well.... especially my Enermax.... I have been using it for about 5 years now.

Never heard of that brand. Considering you can get a PSU from a well known manufacturer for about the same price, follow goranpaa's advice and look at some of the ones suggested.

Two other suggestions are the ultra x2 Connect 550W psu. It's modular and has good output, both current and voltage, for all your necessary hardware. It runs around $100 at Tigerdirect. Also, there are the Ultra Xfinity 500 and 600W depending on your power need. The 500W is $80 and the 600W is $90 also at Tigerdirect.
