computer display problem

Hi all
my computer is well work but i cannot see anything in the screen.I have checked the monitor it is working well and I have tried to change the monitor and I have seen the same there is a lot of vertical and horizontal lines in the screen so please give me the solution.

Do you see anything on the screen when you first turn on the computer?
If you cannot, check that your graphics card is correctly seated or change the card.
If you can & this problem is only happening when you get into Windows you need to go into safe mode & reset the resolution of your display drivers or the refresh rate of the monitor.

Can you go to and see the BIOS settings screen? Sometimes this happens if you try to overclock a video card too much. If you can go to the BIOS, try resetting to the default settings. See previous answers by Ketrel1 too.
