Stuck Pixel Or Not?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Well, I turned on my computer this afternoon, and was greeted by a pixel that felt it had to be different from the others. I suspected a stuck pixel, but the thing is, it doesn't stay the same color. If I recall correctly, stuck pixels are always one color, but depending on the color the pixel is supposed to be, it changes to a different color, i.e white becomes red and dark blue becomes light blue. In one occasion, I had a thing where as long as Windows Media Player was open, there was a red stuck pixel, but when I closed the application, it went away. Could this be Windows doing something, or could it really be a stuck pixel?

its your monitor or video card.

Probably just a pixel, that "hickupped". Or in worst case, one starting to go bad. It's just to wait and see, if this thing happends again? Not much you can do really.

If its stuck, try tapping gently on the screen, and see if that fixes it. Also, reboot, the graphics card might be in a "glitch".

Not the graphics card. I used the XBox on the monitor too, and it had the pixel, so it's definately a stuck pixel. Tapping doesn't seem to work.
