Play PS2 on TFT Dvi Monitor?

Hi and thanks for looking,

I recently took my old 21" Tv to the dump as it simply took up too much space on my desk with my Formac Gallery 1900xtreme which has Dvi input and a native resolution os 1280x1024.

I am desperately searching for a way to play my PS2 on my monitor now as I don't have a tv.
I'm running a 6600GT with VIVO (composite in and out. S video etc)

Is there a way I can do this, either by connecting my PS2 composite out to composite in on PC and using some kind of program, or directly to my monitor.
Also would a TV card make it possible?

I have read of people using Dscaler to do this, but I cannot get it to work as I think you need a TV card of some sort.

IF you can help me at all, thanks,

Dave

Unless the monior has SDTV inputs, you cannot directly do this. You could, however, plug in the PS2 to the composite video in and use a program (there should be one on the computer) import the program and display it on the screen, then outputing that through the DVI out on the graphics card.

Yep I managed to get it running on Dscaler but the qualitys really poor

Dont suppose if I used the Svideo out and got an svideo to composite adapter it would be any better.

Thanks
