I have bought ASUS A2000 laptop recently but within two weeks it failed I donnot know the problem it simply showed a blinking power indicator and it couldn't start even I cannot switch on if I switch on I cannot switch off. If I give power from the adaptor, the battery cannot charged so there is some discontinuty I think...
The problem faced me while I was using internet and there was storm(lightening) and I heard some crush sound and it stopped working totally.....
one technician says there is a motherboard failurity (the ceramic capacitor near the modem) failed so it couldn't maintain I felt hopeless and I simply put the laptop since last year since I live in Ethiopia and I couldn't get any components please if you have some solution give me.

I met a technician recently and he knew motherboard problem but he couldn't identify which component failed and I think if I get circuit diagram of the motherboard he can repair it so please help me to get the circuit diagram of my laptop motherboard.
The specification of my laptop is:
System manufacturer Asustek
System model A2H/L
System type X86-based Pc
Bios Version Award software, Inc, 0213
Processor Mobile Intel (R) CPU 2.4 GHz
Processor version X86 Family 15 model 2 stepping 9 Genuine Intel 2.39 GHz
Product key 55274-640-0000356-23640

I think you should contact Asus. And MAYBE, they can send you such a diagram.

I think ASUS will most likley tell you to send in the laptop to be repaired or replaced.
