Nice start on the site, Tecil What's it gonna be about?
And thanks for the link
Posted by: Tecil
Not sure yet. I just re-build my fathers site today. Haven't had time to do my own yet. I'll work on it this week. Have a few ideas though.
Always glad to help support my favorite sites.

Good start.
The tables/cells could use a border to define them more. The background doesn't quite match with your color scheme. The banner text is too small, or the banner is too big. You don't have to use all the space.

different and good, I like the power links too.
Do you plan to have a cash register here?
I'll check back in later.

Times New Roman........................Traumatizing!!!!!
Posted by: Tecil
There's no Times New Roman there. I'm using Tamaho for everything.
I need to get off my lazy ass and finish working on it though. I've been addicted to Wolfenstein for the last couple weeks. That and LoTR.
Posted by: Tecil
I spent most of the weekend finally working on my site. I added in the webcam and message boards. I still have some other stuff to add, but probably won't get to it till next weekend.

Nice site
Posted by: Tecil
I posted a counter on my site yesterday to see what kind of hits I was getting.
It's not even been 24hrs later and I'm at almost 3000 hits.
Seems binarybliss.com used to owned by Radiate software the makers of Go!zilla.

Been doing some updating. I did an overhaul to the interface. Added in the fade script to test. I took my forums down for now, as not too many are using them. Going to add some more stuff this weekend.

Nice site dude
Posted by: Xtren
Looks pretty cool to me, even though I don't think it's totally done. You'll have to add some links and stuff but the layout looks good.
Posted by: Tecil
Yeah it's still a work in progress.
I need to sit down and really start fleshing it out and adding some content. My problem is that I'm still learning, so it takes a while for me to get things the way that I want.
I really need to learn how to use Paint Shop Pro more effectively.
Posted by: Xtren
Yeah you really have to know what you're doing in order not to screw up somewhere along the way. Learning is the boring part.

Halo, PC, want, NOW!
Posted by: Xtren
Halo is truly an awesome game...... the best one by a long shot for the Xbox so far.
Posted by: Tecil
M$ would be stupid not to release it on PC. I'm crossing my fingers until then.

I believe this is one of the instances where a publisher has more control than a developer. Wasn't there a thread on this issue not long ago?
Microsoft...bah. I can't see Microsoft making that game.
Posted by: Xtren
I don't have anything against Microsoft. They are filthy rich but they always do a great job and come up with good ideas.
Posted by: TotalRecall
I don't have anything against them either, but I just can't look past a lot of flaws in their software.
You are right though, their game sector comes up with a lot of good games. Luckily, I believe that development team isn't ran by their OS teams.
Posted by: Xtren
There aren't all that many flaws in their software either. Any software, no matter who makes it, will have flaws. I think people are just objective to the company itself.

I changed my site. Due to a lack of a many really decent classic console gaming sites, I've decided to run one that actually is updated.
Forums are up and I'm working on the review templates. Should start posting some reviews later this week.
Posted by: Xtren
I see you have been dong some more work, the forums look decent too. The site should be pretty good when it's done.
Posted by: Nfested
I just checked out the site, nice job Tecil.

Finally finished working on my father's e-com site so I have once again have time to contribute to my own. I'll be re-posting the forums this weekend, then start work on the layout again.
Right now it just link to OTS so we can get some more traffic.
Posted by: Tecil
Let me know what you guys and gals think of my new layout. I've been working on it, and hopefully will have it up sometime this week. This is just a beta type thing nothing is definative.

I like it. What are you using to design it as far as the program or are you just writing code in notepad? I'm by no means a web designer and what little I've done has been all in Frontpage (which I know makes all you designers cringe). I have a small website on my own server at home that I setup for my buddies and I.

Maybe I could get some feedback from ya'll on it. It's extremely simple and just functional for us; but I like the style that the theme I picked uses. I look forward to seeing what you do with your site, Tecil.
Posted by: Tecil
I manily use Dreamweaver MX, but sometimes will use Frontpage 2002 to get some of they layout stuff done.
Posted by: AK47
I like the new layout better
Posted by: Xtren
The new site layout is better than the old one Tecil. It attracts more attention to the news and is better spaced out. Good job, it will be a really cool site when you add some content to it.
Posted by: Canis Lupus
I liked the second one
Posted by: Tecil
LOL Laggy...
I took the 2nd one down. Pretty much everyone I showed it to like the 1st better.
I'm just finishing up on my news script so should be up and running this weekend. My forums are done and running.
Posted by: Tecil
Ok, it's finally up and running.
I setup the news script and have the forums up and running.
Just need to finish the pages attatched to the menu, but it is up and running.
