WIN XP Activation

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I recently had to have my hard drive purged and WIN XP Home reinstalled. This is the same install disc that I used in Jan 2003 to put WIN XP Home into my system. The problem is this: The system requires activation (by giving Microsoft the number on the disc), and, every time I put the number in, Microsoft says it is not valid. I recall having to activate the program in Jan 2003, using the same number that I am using now, except that I was able to complete the activation without submitting the number. I don't remember how I did that. Can anyone help me???? Please send any help to: dwfox9@yahoo.com God Bless and thanks, Ron

Also make sure the number is perfectly entered. Sometimes they use stange fonts to print them, so a g and 9 look similar and so on.
