In Windows XP how do you make sure your updates is set to automatic? How do you go about updating Windows XP?

You can set them to where the updates will be down loaded and installed automatically or you can set them to down load and alert you so you can tell it to install them. Or you can set them to alert you before down loaded and installed.

You can also go to All Programs and click on Windows Update and update manually.

Right click My Computer, click on properties and choose the automatic updates tab and pick which one tickles your fancy. Personally, I prefer to have them down loaded and then alert me so I can see what M$ wants to install on my computer.

I'm not a trusting soul.
