Try heading into bios, by tapping the "delete key" or F1 / F2 at the very first screen you see when booting up.

Then navigate using the arrow keys. Look for a menue, about "open door warning".
Disable this and save the setting before you leave.

If that does'nt help.

Unplug the pc. Grab hold of a water tap or kitchen sink, to remove yourself from static electrisity.
Remove the motherboard battery (small round silvery batt) for 30 minutes. This will reset bios.

Open your cabinet door and just remove the Ram and reinsert that properly.

OK don't be fooled by your drive's flashing - that just means they are receiving power - Basically, there's something wrong with your computer. You want the motherboard, memory and cpu to gel. Right now you just have power going to your drives - that's easy. I re-suggest re-seating your memory. Also check all motherboard connections (make sure the computer isn't set to reset the cmos everytime it is started, also, make sure the memory is in tight.) Basically, run through the manual with a fine-toothed-comb and make sure everything is sitting right.
