Copy Vhs To Dvd

I am using a dazzle system to upload my vhs movies into my computor, changing signal to digital signal. Then burning to a dvd-r disk. My problem is the voice is about a second behind vedio or a second ahead of video. I can't seam to match audio and video together.I sure would like some sugestions. wesgel61

How does the Dazzle system connect to the PC? I have never used the Dazzle system. I normally use a video capture card.

There are many things that can cause unsynced video and sound. Most of the time, the main culprit seems to be the encoding process either from the tape to harddrive or from the harddrive to the DVD. Make sure that you are encoding video into NTSC 29.97 fps at all times.
Does the sync problem show up after capturing the video, or just on the final dvd?
