Wireless help

I'm thinking of upgrading to a wireless network but I'm still unsure as to what I need to do it or even how easy it is to set up. I've read that its easy to do, but I've heard that too many times before...

Basically at the moment I've got an old PC (ME) and a new one (XP SP2) that I want to be able to share a connection, I'd also like to get my 360 connected as well, if possible. What do I need? I've got an ADSL modem currently, so do I just need a router and an adapter or is it more complex?

Also does it affect the speed at all or will it be as fast as it always has been?

Sorry, I know that's a lot of questions to ask but I don't know what I'm doing. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say your bet bet would be to get a wireless ADSL modem/router. One of your PC's can be connected directly to the modem/router, but the other would require a wireless NIC to be installed.
Don't know about the Xbox 360, does it have wireless built in or has it got a NIC build in?
Wireless should be easy to set up, but it can also be a pain in the arse.
I have a wireless network, but all I am using is my wireless laptop & my desktop PC. The PC has a USB ADSL modem & I have internet connection sharing set up. The PC has a wireless NIC. This seems to work OK, but I may get a wireless modem/router when I can afford it.
