Hi i just recently purchased a new motherboard for my new comp. The problem is the video card is not working. I did not get the time to test out my x700 pci e at my friends house. When the video card is plugged in my screen is black. So i was wondering what is the molex on the mobo for? Also refering to manual the video card should be plugged in the blue slot (top). What is the problem?

What do you mean by "Molex on the mobo"?
Pity you did'nt get to test the card at your friends PC. It would have made things a bit easier.

there is a spot where u can plug in a 4 pin molex. If things dont go right im going to wait a little longer and grab me a 7 series. The 9250 should keep me going.

The "4 Pin molex mystery is solved! I just read, that you must connect a molex there, when using SLI.
Are you going to send the X700 back?
