Hi guys! Im in desperate need of help with FTPS. I want to start my own connection so all my friends can come in and download stuff, but i have no clue where to start. I looked up some FTPS but i dont know what's a good/free client and userfriendly ftp. Can some one teach me how to start my own ftp server and how to teach my friends how to connect to them ?

I never used to use freeware ftp.... So i can't give you any preferred FTP Server software on that list. Then hit up www.dyndns.com so you can get a domain name with ur dynamic ip address.
Then your friends can open up IE and type ftp://yourname.dyndns.org or .com or whatever it is these days and punch in a pass if you have one set.

is there a different host i can use , because when i go to dyndns it keeps on saying i have to pay

The premium options require you to pay, but there are two there that are listed as free.
