I am running a Windows XP sp2. Ive been using it for the past 2 years, and today it wont let me drag icons/folders or anything!! I have no clue what happened! I just shut it off, then the next morning it wouldnt let me drag anything. When I try, the icon just stays in place. Please Reply. Im very scared on whats happening, I would hate to know that I ruined a great computer.

Thank you very much in advance.

You can't drag icons? Please be more specific as there are some desktop hijacks out there that do a number on your system.

Sounds to me like someone might have done a printscreen of your desktop, set it as the background, and deleted all your shortcuts.

Phew, funniest answer I came to that fixed it. Well my "Esc" key was jammed down, so after I wiggled it around it un jammed and I was able to acces/drag everything. Sometimes the answer can be the simplest thing! Thank you everyone, for your help.
