Converting WMV to ISO

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hey, i got a couple of movie clips I've gathered up over the years, they are all in AVI. How can i convert those files into an ISO or whatever i need to be able to burn them onto a DVD so i can watch it on my dvd player. I tried burning the AVI files like they are onto a dvd, but my dvd player couldnt read the disk (big surprise) so does anyone know a free program that can convert these files? or know anyway to get these AVI files onto a dvd for a dvd player? thanks in advance

Have you tried Googling for something? Also, if your DVD burner came with Nero or similar software, there should be some kind of utility that includes converting AVI into DVD video format. ISO would be the format for making an image (of downloaded operating systems for example) and wouldn't do any good for movie making.

nvm i think i found a way. but since i've backed up some dvd's and i read some guides on that, if you can get all the files into an iso and burn that it works fine.

but yea i think i found something, so this thread can just be ignored now :P

www.videohelp.com can provide all the information you need. It's a bit overwhelming but it's as complete as it gets.
