How do I kill a process?

I recently downloaded a game beta. When I run the beta I get the blue screen of death and it tells me that "windrvnt.sys" is causing the problem. Apparently it's not an essential system file, and it's not part of xp. How can I kill the process so it's not running when I start up the game?

Umm...... try Ctrl+Alt+Del. Hit the process tab and find what your looking for. Then hit end process. The problem could be coming from a bad DL though. I would uninstall and reinstall with a different DL.

Actually, now that I have taken a better look, it seems that you may have a bigger problem. It seems that this process that your speaking of is cause from a program called "Folder Lock" which is ment to protect files. According to other forums this program causes problems all the time. Bringing up the "blue screen of death" and causing complete system failure.

Yeah, I use folder lock, I don't see the process under the running processes though... What should I do?
